I am thoroughly enjoying using this format... a few moments a day, but not another meeting. However, I am starting to question the effectiveness, as there only seems to be three or four of us using it?

Admittedly it is not that effective in terms of the number of people who are participating, but I must admit that the quality of these discussions has already surpassed my expectations. I think that it has a chance of working if I can get more people including administrators to participate. We are not actually going to affect policy without them.

UnregisteredIf Chris (or someone) can relay to administration the decisions/opinions stated in this forum, then it'll be effective. As long as the 'powers that be' recognize our forum as being as weighty as the opinions of any other committee, we're fine.
Or like Chris wants, have the administration join in the discussion directly... they might only want the bottom line, however.

Right now it is just being used for technology team. I am hosting this site on a domain that I have purchased myself because I have been disappointed with the feature set of the software driving the school's web page. I do think that we could host a similar forum here on one of the servers that we own.
